If you're family to Beth then you're the most important thing in her life. Beth loves her family - she'd do anything for them and it shows in how she acts and talks about them. Beth not only cares about them, her siblings the most, but she's incredibly protective over them. When Beth realises that something has happened in the lodge involving Hannah she runs to her aid and defends her, going to far as to risk her own life to make sure that Hannah is okay. It isn't known if Beth knew about Josh's mental health, but their interactions show that she loves him. Beth jokes with him about his partying and not showing him any judgement for being out of it so early. When it comes to the whole group Beth tries to warn them about the stranger up on the mountain, wanting them all to be safe, though that gets sidetracked when she realises that Hannah has gone.
Though Beth is more practical compared to her siblings she can also be impulsive when it comes to their safety. With how much Beth cares for them there is nothing that she wouldn't do to ensure their safety. Despite the fact that there is a stranger on the mountain, and likely because of it, Beth rushes into the snow to look for Hannah after she runs off. She's also very quick to judge her friends about the event that caused Hannah to run off, calling them all jerks before even knowing what had happened. Despite the dangers that Beth could face - it being night, snowy and there being a stranger on the mountain, Beth quickly runs after Hannah.
One of Beth's strongest traits is her honesty, which is shown more in how she reacts to the situations in front of her. When Beth finds the note that Mike has left for Hannah she can't help but mutter aloud what she thinks about it, with the same being said for her reaction to finding Josh (and Chris) passed out drunk. Although her comments aren't harsh they are her honest thoughts or feelings. She's also a charitable person, which relates to her protective nature about her friends and especially her family. When Beth finds Hannah on the mountain she quickly gives her her coat to keep Hannah warm, even if it means that she might freeze herself. Later when Hannah falls Beth goes back to pick her up and urge her to keep running, and even (depending on player choice) can refuse to sacrifice Hannah to save her own life - trying to save both of their lives.
Though Beth has her impulsive moments she's more often a cautious person. Though the party has been going on for several hours Beth likely hadn't been that involved in it. Whilst Josh and Chris are passed out drunk, and the rest of the group are pulling a prank on Hannah, Beth is shown to be gazing out of the window at the snowy mountain. Though for obvious reasons she wouldn't have been involved in the prank (it being on her sister) she's not engaged in any other typical party activities, or trying to get the group involved in something else. Similarly Beth's reaction to finding Mike's note to Hannah is also quite a mild response. Even though Beth knows that Mike and Emily are dating, and called Hannah naive (largely due to her crush on him) Beth doesn't immediately react to the note to try and find Hannah and stop her from looking for Mike, possibly cautiously believing that it's not a big deal/isn't what it seems.
Beth's weakest traits are shown to be her sense of humour and her romantic side. Though nothing is seen on Beth and romance a little is shown on how Beth responds to jokes. When seeing Josh passed out drunk Beth makes a joke about it, though it's lost to the room since he's asleep. When Beth hears about the practical joke that was played on Hannah Beth doesn't seem to find it funny. There isn't enough time to know whether it's because she doesn't like practical jokes or if it's because it upset Hannah (and could easily be both) but she responds harshly to it by calling the group jerks. Given what the prank was Beth likely wouldn't have found it too funny since it embarrassed her sister, though she might not have found it funny if someone else had been pranked either (like Sam, who objected to it).
At her heart Beth is a good and sensible person. She cares for her friends and family and would go out of her way to protect them. Beth is smart and able to keep herself reasonably calm in an intense situation, such as when Beth and Hannah are being chased - she is able to direct them both, go back to rescue Hannah and try to save Hannah when they are falling. She's friendly and reasonably social, enjoying herself at the party with her friends (of various like levels) but also doesn't mind peace and quiet (such as looking out of the window at the snow whilst at the party). Though Beth is cautious she is able to make quick decisions when she needs to, and tries to make sure that they're good ones.

ATHLETIC Beth is able to successfully navigate the snowy paths with little difficulty, not tripping or falling as she runs and can quickly find Hannah. INTELLIGENT. though we don't know her GPA or what Beth is studying she is a college student. She is also able to keep a level head during a tense situation and can think on her feet.
Flaws:
Though generally cautious Beth can be impulsive which can lead her to dangerous situations or putting her life on the line to save someone else's. She tends to be honest, and while she doesn't sit on the rude side like Emily, it could lead her to saying something a little too honest or rash. She also has a slightly lacking sense of humour and isn't too fond of pranks (especially involving her sister).
