Sigyn. As a Whitelighter (a guardian angel) and a former social worker Paige goes out of her way to help (and save) both those under her care (first as a social worker, then her wiccan innocents and whitelighter chargers).
Power;
Healing
Personality;
Paige is an incredibly caring person, someone with a large heart who would do anything to protect and help anyone that is in trouble. Although Paige only discovered that she was a whitelighter a year ago, essentially a guardian angel, it has always been a part of her, and as Piper told her was the guiding force that made her become a social worker. Paige's heart is incredibly compassionate and she tries to see the best in people, to enable her to help them, although she can be rather quick to judge someone that gives her a 'bad vibe'. Paige's compassion and wish to help others is a large part of her character, and after quitting her job as a social worker in order to focus more on being a witch Piper noted that it was as if a part of Paige's personality, her compassion as she had become so focused on wanting to vanquish the Siren, had disappeared along with it. Realising that Piper is right Paige goes back to Melissa, the woman that she had been trying (and failing) to help and helped herself along with it, remembering that she was good at helping people, why she had become a social worker initially and that she could be a whitelighter.
As well as compassionate Paige is also very passionate, particularly towards something that she believes in. Being wholly independent, particularly before meeting her sisters, Paige had to fight for herself and her own beliefs, and after meeting her sisters this was something that only intensified - particularly in the beginning when they all had to learn to mesh with a new sibling. Paige's passion worked well in her role first as a social worker and secondly as a protector of the innocent - Paige has a strong desire to protect others, and her passion and strong will allowed her to try and do this however possible (for example working extra hours, taking more time to look out for someone or, after becoming a witch, working harder to find a spell or locate a demon). After quitting her job as a social worker in order to spend more time bettering herself as a witch (especially without the conflict between mortal work and wiccan work) Paige was incredibly driven with regards to learning as much as she could, firstly so that she could help innocents as best as she could but also due to the fact that she had a lot of catching up to do with regards to her sisters knowledge, powers and skills. Paige's drive also extends towards others, or at least to wanting to help others better themselves. After Gideon (an Elder and the Headmaster of Magic School) was vanquished the other Elders wished to close magic school due to no one being there to run it. Paige fought against this, and strongly so, believing that all young witches should be able to have somewhere safe to learn and practice their craft, because she believed that it was important for that to be possible (especially after the struggle her and her sisters went through alone). Due to presenting the argument, and not allowing the Elders to refuse her proposal (she was strong minded about it), the Elders gave the task of running Magic School to her, because it was her idea. Although Paige was initially surprised by this and felt overwhelmed she took the task with grace, and although found it challenging (and still overwhelming) did her best with it, and found enjoyment from it (and being able to help other young witches).
Something that Paige prides herself on is her quirkiness, or as she's said "being weird". Paige's style, especially in her early twenties, is rather more unusual compared to her sisters (she prefers more flamboyant clothes, either in print or decoration/decorative style) and the same extends to her furniture choices (for example a chair that Piper hated). Because Paige is proud of being 'weird' (which makes her distinctive and memorable, certainly), this allows her to quickly find pride in being a witch, as it certainly isn't a normal thing. Paige's pride is a source of strength for her as it allows her to first feel comfortable as herself but also comfortable in her magical abilities, and helps her know that she can do what she does. Paige's quirkiness is also a part of her fun-loving self, as she is most at ease when she is enjoying herself, and in her youth used to be wilder and more of a party girl (helping somewhat with her quirky dress sense). Although Paige's quirky dress sense slowly lessens and is later gone as she matures, and her attitude mellows a little (showing her maturity and responsibility) she is still the same person at heart, loving to enjoy herself (at appropriate times) as well as enjoying the ability to share a joke, have fun with someone (especially to cheer them up), particularly if she hasn't been able to relax for a while. Paige is also not a fan of traditional methods or means, and although when she has to battle a demon she needs to refer to more traditional methods her spells and orbing can be a little non-conventional (with their rhyming or her orb calls, e.g. "icky stuff").
Although Paige at first may seem a little aloof, and ditsy, she is responsible at heart - it can just be put off a little by her wish to enjoy herself. Before Paige found out about her sisters and the fact that she was a witch (and a Charmed One) her priorities were a little more skewed - although she wished to become a social worker Paige was often late to work or late at doing something, leading her to not being able to progress (even though she did work hard) as her priorities weren't in line. After discovering that she is a witch, particularly after having her responsibility needs drilled into her by Piper (and seeing the dangers herself) Paige's priorities becaome a little more reorganised, and her work ethic at her job increases (and she is promoted to a social worker) and Paige attempts to juggle that along with being a successful witch, managing to do so. Even though Paige manages to find (some) balance between her two worlds she eventually quits her job, wishing to focus her responsibilities onto becoming a better witch, wanting to help and save innocents without being pulled by both worlds. Although she was sad to leave her job, as she had finally gotten where she'd wanted, Paige knew that what she was leaving it for was important - and she would still be able to do her social work, just in a slightly different manner (particularly after she began receiving charges as a whitelighter).
Paige is also an intelligent individual. Although it is uncertain as to whether Paige went to college or not, it is never stated, Paige works hard at her job and eventually progresses to a social worker, and is not shown to struggle with it. With regards to magic it shows its own challenges, but with the help of her sisters, Leo and her own studies (which after quitting her job she devotes a lot of time to) Paige shows to progress and does so quickly, managing to come to an almost level with her two sisters who have been learning the craft for three years longer than Paige has. Paige also manages to quickly come to grips with using her powers, and through practise and use against demons they grow, as she does, and her bond with her sisters and the new Power of Three. Paige is also rather intuitive, partially due to her quick to judge nature (one example is that she took a quick disliking to Cole and believed him to be evil before it was revealed that he was). Paige is also incredibly stubborn, although given that her sisters also are this is also a shared Halliwell trait.
